Welcome

The BeMMaD project aims to provide a diverse range of high quality mentoring and befriending opportunities that attract a diverse range of young people aged 16-25 living in Suffolk.

We work to enable young people to act on issues relevant to them and their communities by supporting individuals and groups to identify, direct and deliver their own projects.

Registration is open to all and easily done. Once you have registered you can tell your story or ask for advice in one of the forums, add your images to the picture gallery or let loose in the creative area of the site. Plus - the facebook group to keep you all up to date.

And we’re off…..BeMMaD goes live! A big thank you to Daniel Samuels and Benjamin Bowles for taking the site this far. Now it’s over to you…..

BeMMaD.co.uk is ready for you to share your stories, thoughts, problems and ideas with your fellow mentors. The site is open to all those interested and involved in mentoring across Suffolk. The site is designed to act as journal for BeMMaD and other related projects. The forum deals with particular issues and the blog for your own stories and experiences. Images can be added and the creative section is for everything else.

We need your contributions to the site to make this work! And it’s all here to make use of.

Your contribution to the site can be as wide and a varied as you like and relevant to the people as much as the project. Share your interests and experiences, be it mentoring, music, gaming, fishing or what ever. Write to poem to tell your story, take a picture of a drawing and upload it or post web links to other pages you think are of interest. Be creative, have fun and look around for ideas.

By the way…. volunteers registered with v can count time spent with the site towards their v awards.

So what have you got to offer?
